So this is a maxi dress I bought at Kohl's a few days back! I really love how it fits and that it is the perfect length for my body. Whenever I buy maxi dresses they never work out because they are to long or they are to tight to walk in, But this one is perfect.

Also going on vacation on Sunday so I might not be posting for a few days.

This is what I wore today to go shopping! ^.^ I love shopping it always puts me in such a better mood. I bought some really cute stuff that I will soon be posting on here! I went to Kohls today, they have such great sales! But I won't say exactly what I got because you will see it all soon enough.

I also think my blog may have been hacked so hopefully not but be ready if suddenly I change urls or something.

Lately all I've been wanting to go shopping everyday! So I finally got some of that crazy shopping energy out. I have been so busy hanging out with my friends that I haven't had much time or money for shopping. I have honestly applied for so many jobs lately and I still haven't got an interview. But one thing is I refuse to apply for fast food restaurants, where all my friends are getting jobs, so that may be part of it. It's hard getting jobs at 16 with no job experience when there are adults applying for the same job with a ton of work experience. I wanna work somewhere where I don't have to be very social, because when I first meet people I'm very shy. It sucks. So I applied at Petco as a grooming assistant, which seems perfect. My actual job I really want is working at my mom's work! She works at a dermatology and spa place, I don't have interest in medicine but I really like all the people that work there. But the doctors always hire their own children so I never can get the job. :(

Cowgirl Boots

Okay so here is one of my favorite shirts I got on sale at Forever. I got it for only like 4.99! This is something I would wear to go hang out with my friends. Simple, cute, and cool. It is like 100 degree's everyday here and I need clothes that are cool and comfortable.

Shoes!

Good Afternoon ^.^

Okay the one thing I can never stop buying is shoes! These are my top eight. I got my cowboy boots, tan oxfords, and studded sandals from Ross. My black sandals are from Charlotte Russe, and my white sandals are from Wet Seal. My brown/tan oxfords and my white studded oxfords are from Forever 21. Lastly my military style boots are from Pay-less.

On another note I caught a stomach virus. ); 

It's really bad and that's why I haven't updated the last couple of days. Well I am honestly to tired to say on the computer so I'm going back to sleep, but comment/tweet/email me if you like. ^.^

Katy Perry

So is anybody else as pumped as I am about the new Katy Perry movie?? I think Katy Perry is a great role model for young girls. She teaches us to be strong and to not put up with any guys BS. 

On another note, tomorrow I will be posting some pictures of my favorite item of clothing.... Shoes. ^.^ So be ready for that. :) I also think I will post some photos of swim suits since it is summer and I've been swimming everyday! It's up to almost 100 degrees here in Albuquerque everyday, so swimming is a must. I think I might sneak into Target and take a few pictures of my favorites, because they have the cutest swim suits!

Earth Angel

Alrighty then, well I didn't go get my tattoo touched up because I want to be able to swim whenever I want. So my last post is not accurate of what I was going to do today. So instead I stayed home and watched movies with my mom. ^.^ I watched August Rush, one of my favorite movies of all time. I also bought the book Influence by MK and Ashely Olsen. So far I am loving the book and being able to just chill at my house all day. 

So soon I want to take some pictures of a couple of outfits and post them on here. How about that? I will probably get my friend Kayle to dress up for me and I just take a couple shots with my cheap camera. ^.^

Tattoo

Good morning. ^.^

So today I am going to go get my tattoo retouched after almost a year. It's an infinity symbol that looks pretty bad up close. I'm pretty mad it took this long to fix it and that it was even messed up in the first place. This was my first tattoo so I was pretty sad when it didn't come out the way I wanted.

Well here is a picture of it from when I got it back in November.

I can't believe it's already Sunday, thank goodness I don't have school for awhile! I used to hate Sundays, but without school I love Sundays. Sunday is a nice chill day to do art and crafts, and go shopping.  Today I went shopping for a big birthday party next weekend. It's an over the hill party so it's just going to be a lot of old people drinking and talking about how cool they used to be. -_-

So today I tried to do a collage thing over a drawing and it was seriously so hard, and took way to long.I was going to post the finished product but I ended up giving up so the finished product is pretty wimpy. 

Yeah pretty wimpy huh?

Fendi

This week as been crazy! My step-father got a job in California and wanted the whole family to move out there but none of us wanted to so we are staying and he is leaving. It was all very stressful, but on a happy note it's summer and by best friend is home.

I really need to go shopping and get some more high waisted shorts. There are these amazing high waisted pants at Forever 21 that look almost exactly like the disco pants from American Apparel, so those are at the top of my list to get right now.

I made a summer check list a couple weeks back. It was really fun to put down all of my wishes for the summer. If anyone reads this you should try it its really fun. ^.^

Poppy Eyes

Lately I have been making random little things like the image above, and I actually kind of like them so I decided to just go on and post it. 

Also on another note I have been into different buttoned down shirts. In colors like coral and sea foam green. I think theses are great for spring and now summer. I'm also liking all things sheer. I'm liking the sheer maxi skirts with the skirt underneath. Also sheer shirts with a bandeau underneath is very cute. I also am in LOVE with high low skirts and dresses! I still do not own a skirt that is high low but I do own a dress and I am in love with the style.

Vogue

Good Morning! ^.^ 

This is something I do in my free time, I collage different pictures from fashion magazines. This one only has pictures from Teen Vogue September 2011, and Vogue January 2012. I honestly don't think much about how well everything goes together while doing this I just go. So sorry if you don't see much harmony in the photo. Soon I will be doing a big collage on a big poster board and when I finish I will post a picture on here. Also for better image quality and correct size expand the image above.

First Time Blogging ^.^

 

I want to start a fashion blog. I have always wanted to do one but I never have quality pictures or a good layout. I'm still going to do this though. I love fashion and I hope to have a job in fashion after I graduate. I plan to intern for a stylist this summer, and hopefully by the end of the summer I will have my own personal style. I hope I can look back on this blog and see change in the quality of my pictures and how well I dress. This first picture is just a picture I took of my outfit I wore today.

Now I will introduce myself, I am Angel. I am going to be a Junior in high school next year. I take photography and other art classes. These classes inspire the way I see fashion, I see fashion a an art style. I hope to keep this blog going through past the summer. I am doing this blog for me, as a portfolio and a timeline of my style, and hopefully in time to help or inspire others.

My coral button down shirt is thrifted, my shorts were originally jeans from Anchor Blue, my belt is from Forever 21, and later on I added white sandals with gold rings from Wet Seal. I am also wearing two hemp bracelets I made my self, and coral earrings that were a gift.

I hope I can get some feedback. I know there is a lot I still need to do. I was wondering if I can get help with how to make a good layout?
